Bea was 19th in the under 13s race at the  Reebok Inter-counties in Nottingham.

 

 

Bea Swords was 3rd in the U13s race at the Reebok Cross Challenge race in Birmingham.
In what was a relatively small field of 50 runners, Bea Swords (Oxford City AC) led the group up the first hill.  By half way Kate Avery (Shildon R & AC) had begun to make her move, leaving Jessica Hicks (Gloucester AC) an isolated second with Swords in third.  The positions remained the same to the finish, by which time Avery had really stamped her authority on the field, winning by 23 seconds in 10:52.

 

2004-5

Bea Swords was 3rd in the U13 girls race at the Reebok Cross Challenge race at Parliament Hills, London. 

Jessica Hicks (Gloucester), the UK girls under 13 800m record-holder, went one better than her second place in Birmingham, finishing ahead of the Oxford City pair of Melissa Hawtin and Bea Swords, in the girls under 13 race to chalk up her first Reebok Challenge race win.

 

Pre-race: The top five in the Reebok Series standings compete in both the Under 13 Boys and Girls races. Gloucester AC’s Jessica Hicks, back to winning ways at Parliament Hill starts as favourite in the Under 13 Girls race. She will be challenged by Oxford City’s Bea Swords and the girls from the home club, Liverpool Harriers will be out in force.
Bea Swords was 4th in the U13 girls race at  the Reebok Cross Challenge race in Liverpool.
