In April Katie was 5th in the 11-12 Girls Borough London Mini-Marathon

2003

Katie was ?th in the ? Girls' race at English Schools Cross-Country Championships (Stanmer Park, Brighton) in March.

In April Katie was 2nd in the 13-14 Girls Borough London Mini-Marathon behind club-mate Megan Foley.

Katie was ?th in the English Schools ? Girls' ?m at the Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield in a time of ?.

2004

Katie took the Bronze medal in the South of England Cross-country U15s Race at Parliament Hill, London.

Katie was 7th in the U15s race at the  Reebok Inter-counties in Nottingham, in  an excellent first race back after a short break due to injury. 

The following week Katie was 8th in the  Intermediate Girls' race at the English School's Championships in Maidstone, Kent.

Katie Richardson showed she is back to her best as she won individual bronze as the English School's Intermediate Girls' team ran away with the team gold in the Home Countries Cross Country International at Ayr. The race was won by Wales' Non Stanford in 15:11, with England's Stephanie Twell runner up in 15:39 and Katie nine seconds back in 15:48.

A fortnight later Katie won the 15-17 Girls Borough London Mini-Marathon.
