Pre-race: Nottingham: Non Stanford (Wales West, 453), last winter’s Inter-Counties Silver medallist behind Charlotte Browning, is currently joint first in the Reebok Cross Challenge standings in this age group with 62 points – but only because she drifted up to the Under 17s in search of stronger competition at Cardiff (and finished second to Emily Pidgeon).
